The Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) at UoC is a meticulously designed four-year degree, unfolding over eight semesters, dedicated to moulding competent pharmacists well-versed in all major pharmacy practices. The programme is designed to produce pharmacists with updated knowledge, desired interpersonal skills and holistic approaches in the provision of pharmaceutical care.
Our pharmacy degree goes beyond traditional pharmacy education by integrating innovative areas like veterinary pharmacy, military pharmacy, and nutraceuticals, providing a broader perspective and opening new avenues in the field. The curriculum is continuously updated in response to advancements in healthcare and pharmaceutical sciences, ensuring graduates are not only ready to meet today's challenges but also to anticipate the needs of the future.
Students will be exposed to various laboratories sessions, field and simulated exercises, visits, industrial training at pharmaceutical companies, attachment at community pharmacies and at designated Ministry of Health primary care clinics and hospitals.
