BACHELOR OF EDUCATION IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Course Description

The Bachelor of Education (Hons) in Early Childhood Education is an in-depth programme designed to prepare graduates for vital roles in early education such as preschool teachers, childcare coordinators, curriculum developers, parent educators, or early intervention specialists.

This degree equips graduates with specialised knowledge and practical experience in early childhood education, focusing on child development, instructional strategies, and fostering a supportive learning environment for young children.
 

Course Training and Practical

Practical training is emphasised through internships, providing hands-on experience in real educational settings. Students will also receive guidance from a supervisory panel to ensure progress and successful completion of their practical training.

Matriculation or Foundation

Matriculation/Foundation or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.

Diploma in Early Childhood Education

A Diploma in Early Childhood Education (Level 4, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.

Diploma

A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in any field or its equivalent.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 500; OR International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 5.0; OR equivalent.

* 3 YEARS Student Pass / Visa processing fee RM 4300.00 (Processing Fee RM 1,500.00+ EMGS Fee RM 2,800.00) NB: Fee is paid to EMGS (non-refundable) via University of Cyberjaya

* Passport-size photo (jpeg file, 217pixel X 280pixel, WHITE background – size 3.5cm X 4.5cm)

* Photocopy of passport (ALL pages including blank pages. Passport copy should be clear and printed on single-sided A4 paper).(Please ensure that your passport has a validity of at least 24 months from intake date)

* English Language Certificate – Proficiency in English is a prerequisite for admission. The minimum accepted English language test scores for the Student Pass application are IELTS 5.0, TOEFL 500, or equivalent. The accepted English language tests are:

• TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
• CAE (Cambridge English: Advanced)
• CPE (Cambridge English: Proficiency)

* For applicants transferring from other institutions in Malaysia – A copy of Release Letter, including attendance & academic record and visa cancellation letter with an acknowledgement from EMGS/Immigration

* For applicants financed by scholarship/sponsorship/study loan – An original copy of Sponsorship letter

* For applicants graduating from high schools – A photocopy of School Leaving Certificate

* For applicants with names spelt differently in academic transcripts and documents – Statutory Declaration confirming the identity
