Course Overview

About the Course

The curriculum of the MSU honours degree programme in traditional Chinese medicine aims to produce highly competent professionals of Chinese medicine therapy. Affiliated with traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) universities in China, MSU’s School of Pharmacy combines biomedical sciences with traditional and complementary medicinal practices in an interdisciplinary approach to teaching traditional Chinese medicine. The holistic and innovative learning environment combines traditional lectures with structured practical/laboratory sessions, collaborative tutorials and small group discussions. Assessments are conducted at multifaceted levels both in the theoretical aspects and the hands-on sessions. Constructive feedback from our lecturers will aid your learning. The clinical practice at the end of your studies ensures you graduate industry-ready for a career in traditional Chinese medicine. TCM practitioners/physicians are regulated by the Malaysian TCM Practitioners Board governed by the Malaysian Ministry of Health through the Traditional & Complementary Medicine Act.
