Course Overview

About the Course

The Bachelor in Takaful programme is designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and practical understanding of Islamic risk management, Takaful operations, and Shariah-compliant financial planning. This programme integrates the principles of Islamic finance, economics, and business management with a strong emphasis on ethical and moral values rooted in Shariah law.
Students will gain in-depth exposure to various aspects of Takaful, including family and general Takaful products, underwriting, claims management, re-Takaful, and risk assessment techniques. The curriculum also emphasizes regulatory frameworks, digital transformation in Takaful operations, and sustainable financial practices in line with Malaysia’s Islamic finance ecosystem.
In addition to theoretical learning, the programme incorporates industrial training, case studies, and professional engagement to prepare students for real-world challenges. Graduates will develop analytical, communication, and managerial skills essential for careers in Takaful companies, Islamic financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and consultancy firms.
