The Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) (CPA Australia) is a distinctive four-year programme developed in close collaboration with CPA Australia. It offers students an accelerated pathway to becoming professionally qualified accountants, combining academic excellence with recognised professional credentials.
The programme is structured so that students complete three years of academic study at UniRazak, followed by the final Level 6 papers of the CPA Australia qualification. Upon completing these professional papers, students are awarded the Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) degree from UniRazak, along with professional recognition from CPA Australia and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). Graduates may also be eligible for membership with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) without the need to sit for additional examinations.
This integrated approach allows students to graduate with both a recognised university degree and professional accounting qualifications, significantly enhancing their employability and career prospects in Malaysia and internationally.
The programme aims to produce competent, ethical, and globally minded accounting professionals who are well prepared for today’s dynamic business environment. Specifically, it seeks to:
