The Post Basic Certificate in Renal Nursing is approved by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency and Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia and recognized by the Ministry of Health, Malaysia.

Entry Requirement

Registered with the Nursing Board Malaysia.

Possess a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) for nurses.

Minimum two (2) years clinical working experience.

Possess two (2) months experience in haemodialysis.

The candidate must be certified medically fit by a registered medical practitioner within one (1) week of commencement of programme.

The candidate with any of the following medical conditions cannot be admitted into the programme such as:

HIV / AIDS, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Mental health disorders, Epilepsy, Colour blindness.

The candidate must not have any physical disabilities or impaired senses that hinder nursing dexterity.

Pregnancy is not allowed throughout the course.
